Robin Self Plugiams

So we're watching Home Makeover last night, and get to the part whereby Ty (mrrowl - another one I always forget on my list) sends one of his designers to see a friend of his when said designer expressed trouble designing one of the teenagers rooms. The teenager apparently was a budding comedian, and the designer didn't fashion (ha!) herself very "funny" so Ty sends her to see someone named Robin.

Turns out, it's Robin Williams! Which, hey - that's awesome! He laid off the cocaine long enough to make an appearance on national television. So after a brief conversation with the designer, he surprises her (yeah, sure) that he has a gift for the family outside. Fast forward to Robin Williams presenting a huge RV to this deserving animal-saving family.

Yay for that! How sweet, no?

Yeah, cut to commercial. The VERY FIRST commercial after this happens is for a new movie coming out starring - GUESS WHO??? Robin Williams!! Oh but wait, it gets better. What is the movie called????

Come on - 3 guesses.

The movie is called "RV"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear to God I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

So all those "Aww, isn't Robin Williams so nice for doing that for the needy family" feelings went right out the window for me. Way to plug that new movie Robin.
